August Newsletter- Ministry Minutes
From the Founder
Dear King’s Table Ministries’ Friends, After much prayer and consultation with the Board of Directors, I am excited to share that we have hired a new Executive Director of the King’s Table Ministries. I am pleased to introduce Amber Koster, who comes to us with six years on the board, thirteen years as a business owner and two years as the director of a local, nonprofit organization. Amber is a servant leader with organizational, financial management and strategic planning skills. I look forward to seeing how God will use her to grow the ministry and reach more of those we love and serve. As for me, I will continue to stay involved in the ministry by focusing on program development and mentoring. I would like to thank you for supporting me through these past years with your prayers as we have built the ministry thus far. Now, I ask that you stay faithful in prayer for Amber as she hears God’s leading to move the ministry to the next phase.
From the Director
Dear Faithful Supporters of King’s Table, Serving with and learning from Sally over the past six years has been a journey of unexpected surprises. Being her successor is one of them. I am honored to continue serving those impacted by cognitive disabilities as the new Executive Director. As a supporter and volunteer, I have had the privilege of being a part of this important work that is thoughtfully carried out on a daily basis. As a business owner, I am aware of how applying business principles is essential to having an effective organization. I am excited to see what God has in store for King’s Table as we grow and expand the ministry by providing support services and enrichment opportunities for those in the special needs community. Thank you for investing in this organization by praying, volunteering and sharing your financial resources. I look forward to meeting you throughout the next year. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like a tour.
